"Investimento → Venda" (Spend → Sale): cost per lead, cost per sale, and return for each ad

The "Investimento → Venda" (Spend → Sale) report is the screen that crosses ad spend, imported by spreadsheet, with leads and board stages, to show how much each lead and each sale cost and the return of each campaign, ad set, and ad.

When it appears: The item appears for the Owner and the Admin; it does not depend on a module or a plan.

Who can use it

RoleWhat you see and do
OwnerSees the report, imports and undoes spend spreadsheets, and saves the board's revenue percentage.
AdminDoes everything the Owner does on this screen.
AgentDoes not see the item in the menu; anyone who opens the direct address goes back to the "Painel" (Dashboard).

Step by step

How to import the ad spend spreadsheet

  1. In Ads Manager, export the period with a daily breakdown and the columns "ID do anúncio" (Ad ID), campaign, ad set and ad names, and "valor usado" (Amount used), as CSV.
  2. In "Investimento" (Spend), click "Importar gasto" (Import spend).
  3. Drop the file on "Solte a planilha aqui ou clique para escolher" (Drop the spreadsheet here or click to choose).

  1. In "Investimento" (Spend), choose the period ("Este mês" (This month), "Mês passado" (Last month), "Últimos 90 dias" (Last 90 days) or "Personalizado" (Custom)).
  2. In the "Por campanha de anúncio" (By ad campaign) table, read the "Custo por lead" (Cost per lead) and "Custo por ‹ganho›" (Cost per ‹win›) columns.
  3. Click a column title to sort, and the arrow on a row to open that campaign's funnel.

How to calculate the return on revenue (ROI) of your ads

  1. In the "Retorno sobre a receita" (Return on revenue) indicator, click "Receita:" (Revenue:).
  2. Enter how much of the won value is company revenue, as a percentage.
  3. Click "Salvar" (Save): the return on the screen and in the table now uses that number across all the board's periods.

How to undo a spend import

  1. Click "Histórico de importações" (Import history) (or "Ver o histórico e desfazer" (View history and undo)).
  2. On the spreadsheet's item, click "Desfazer" (Undo).
  3. Read how much spend will be removed and click "Desfazer importação" (Undo import).

Frequently asked questions

Who can see the "Investimento → Venda" (Spend → Sale) report?

Only the Owner and the Admin. The agent doesn't see the item in the menu and, through the direct address, is taken back to the "Painel" (Dashboard).

Why doesn't the "Quadro" (Board) selector appear?

It only appears when the account has more than one board with the column role marked. With a single board, the report uses that board.

Does the revenue percentage apply only to the period I'm viewing?

No. It is saved on the board and applies to all its periods, on the screen and in the table.

Can I send the filtered report link to someone on the team?

Yes. Board, period and campaign are kept in the page address; anyone who opens the link, as long as they are an Owner or Admin, sees the same view.

What goes into "Fora da conta de custo" (Outside the cost calculation)?

Ad leads with no imported spend, ads that spent money and brought no lead (these are already counted in the campaigns), and leads with no ad, such as organic, referral and website form.

Why does an old campaign still win sales in the report?

Because the report counts the leads that came in during the period and everything that happened to them up to today. A lead from last month who closed today counts as a win for their campaign.

Does undoing an import delete the leads?

No. Undoing only removes the spend from that spreadsheet and restores the spend it had replaced. The leads and the campaign names stay.

Help center guide

"Investimento → Venda" (Spend → Sale)

How much each sale cost, by campaign

Export the spend spreadsheet

  1. Choose the period and the daily breakdown: In Ads Manager, choose the period and the breakdown by day.
  2. Include the columns the report uses: Include the Ad ID column, the campaign, ad set and ad names, and the amount spent.
  3. Export as CSV and send it as it came: Export as CSV and send the file as it came, without opening and saving it in a spreadsheet editor: that rounds the IDs.

Import and review

Under "Inteligência" (Intelligence) → "Investimento" (Spend) → "Importar gasto" (Import spend), drop the file. Before saving, the screen shows the recognized columns, the period, the total and the warnings. Re-importing the same spreadsheet never adds up twice: the new spreadsheet rules the period it covers, and the old spend is kept.

On screen: The "Importar gasto" (Import spend) card in the "Conferir" (Check) step: the file's summary, the detected period and total, the spreadsheet columns with each one's field and a preview of the first ten rows. Nothing is saved before "Confirmar importação" (Confirm import). A rounded ad ID is flagged in the preview.

How to read each number

Choose the board at the top: the bars and the table columns follow its stages, and the won column says what counts as a sale. The highlighted number is the return on revenue: the part of the won value that stays with the company (editable, from 0 to 100% in steps of 0.5%; in the "Imobiliária" (Real Estate) template, the 5% commission) divided by the spend. When revenue is only a part of the value, the return on won value appears below.

On screen: The "Investimento → Venda" (Spend → Sale) screen of the "Imobiliária" (Real Estate) board: the month's seven indicators, the funnel in money with the cost of each stage, the note on leads that got a campaign name and the table by ad campaign. The month's indicators, with the return on revenue highlighted.

  1. Indicators: Spend, sales, return on revenue, leads, the board's two stages and the won value. The "Receita" (Revenue) button changes how much of the value counts as revenue.
  2. The money funnel: One bar per board stage, with how many arrived and how much each cost. Hover over the “i” to see what counts at each stage.
  3. By ad campaign: Open the row to see each stage and the ad sets; group by ad set or ad; click the column title to sort.
  4. Outside the cost calculation: Ad leads with no imported spend, ads that spent without bringing a lead and people who arrived without an ad: they stay out of the cost and the return.
"Investimento" (Spend)
The ad spend in the period, from the imported spreadsheet. Only what was imported counts.
Leads
Leads created in the period that came from an ad with imported spend. They go into the board's "Coluna de entrada" (Entry column).
Qualified (by the AI or by the team)
The AI qualified it or the card reached the column with the qualified role — counting everything that has happened to the lead up to today.
Cost per stage
The spend divided by how many reached the stage: per lead, per qualified lead, per folder, per sale.
Won value
The sum of the value of deals marked as won, from leads that entered in the period and went through the chosen board. A sale on another board does not count toward this one.

Why the number changes on its own

A deal can take months to close. The numbers count the leads that entered in the period and everything that has happened to them up to today. That is why an old campaign can still win sales. Dates in Brasília time.

Undo an import

In the "Histórico de importações" (Import history), "Desfazer" (Undo) deletes the spend from that spreadsheet and restores what it had replaced. The leads stay. If a newer import replaced part of this one, undo the newer one first. The badge says "Substituída" (Replaced) when the new spreadsheet took the place of the old one entirely, and "Substituída em parte" (Partially replaced) when it took only a stretch (the note says which): the rest remains valid.

On screen: The "Investimento → Venda" (Spend → Sale) screen with no imported spend: the illustration of a spreadsheet turning into a chart and the "Enviar a planilha" (Send the spreadsheet) button, with the "Importar gasto" (Import spend) card right below. With no import, the screen asks for the spreadsheet: the leads are already there, the amount invested is missing.

Frequently asked questions

What is "Leads de anúncio sem gasto importado" (Ad leads with no imported spend)?
They are leads that came from an ad whose spend has not been imported yet. Import the period's spreadsheet to see their cost.
Do WhatsApp leads get the campaign name?
Yes. A lead who arrives through a WhatsApp ad already carries the ad ID; with the spreadsheet imported, it gets the campaign and ad set name.
What if my board has no roles marked?
The screen shows the tip to mark the columns' roles in "Configurar quadro" (Configure board) → "Colunas e etapas" (Columns and stages) and, until then, the funnel is reduced to Leads → "Qualificados" (Qualified) → "Atendimento" (Service) → "Ganhos" (Won), using the milestones that do not depend on the board (Pipeline by industry).
What if I exported without the daily breakdown?
The spreadsheet goes in just the same. With the start and end columns of the reports, each row applies to its own interval; with no date at all, the screen asks for the period the spreadsheet covers. In both cases each ad's spend is distributed equally across the days.
I uploaded the spreadsheet that had a rounded ID. Can I fix it?
Yes: send the original exported file, for the same period. The spend of the same ad is replaced, not added, and the leads start matching the ad.
The export came with the period's total row. Does it add up?
No. The row with no campaign, ad set or ad name and no ID, in a spreadsheet where the other rows have them, is the period total: the "Conferir" (Check) step shows it as ignored, with the message "linha de total da planilha" (spreadsheet total row), and it stays out of the spend.
I re-uploaded a spreadsheet I had already imported. What happens?
If it is still fully valid, nothing is added: the screen says it was already imported. If a newer spreadsheet replaced part of it, re-uploading makes the old one valid again in the period it covers, and the "Conferir" (Check) step warns what will be replaced before you confirm.
What is the longest period the report shows?
In "Personalizado" (Custom), up to 366 days. To compare different years, view one at a time.
Can I import a spreadsheet with only the ad ID?
You can, but also include the campaign, ad set and ad names if the same period already has spend imported by campaign only. Without the names, there is no way to know it is the same spend, and the screen warns before you confirm that it may be added twice.
Does the spreadsheet contain personal data?
No: only campaign, ad set, ad, day and amount. No lead name or phone goes into it or comes out of the report.
